Terri Perkins -- Self Portrait in a Puddle

This was taken in aperture priority, f/11, 1/10 sec, ISO 200, 18 mm, Nikon D90, Center Weighted Metering, EV: +1

I was standing under the trees with bright sunlight shining through and liked the way my shadow was reflecting in the puddle. If you squint your eyes it looks like I'm wearing a pair of bell bottomed jeans!

  2. Great job metering this. Nothing is lost, and I especially like that we can see all the rock details in the puddle. I'm curious what would have happened if you'd taken it one step down to take it a wee bit darker. Maybe a good opportunity for bracketing? Love the creativity in this shot.
