I was walking back to the truck to go home when geese starting flying in & landing on this stump, one would land & then another showed up & pushed him/her off. I was at my favorite haunt for picture taking, down at the Nisqually refuge. It was quite late in the day so I was using ISO 500 & found the spot metering was working best. My exposure mode was in Aperture priority. F/5.6 & shutter speed was at 1/125 of a second. I like that you can see the underside of the wings even on the darker side. I wish I would have had my zoom all the way at 300 to get a little closer and have less trees all around.
