Night Lite

This light changes colors every second or so. Sitting in the dark in the dining room made this easier. This was shot at iso 100, shutter speed 1 second f/2.8. I like the jelly fish design and in the dark like this makes me think this is how a live one would see the ocean at night. I don't like the shiny bald spot on top though but it only got brighter in other shots I took when I was experimenting.

  1. Is this a lava lamp? It doesn't matter. The image is just COOL! I don't mind the dome on the top, I think it adds to the image. I think you nailed the exposure, but you also did a great job with composition. It's so hard to center things well, but you did it. I really enjoy your shots, Monique. You've got a great eye. (I am really curious to see what other pix you got during this session.)

  2. I totally thought it was a jellyfish at first glance! Great shot! I, too, would like to see the rest of the pictures you took during this session. You’ve done a great job!
