
I would not usually take a photo of a skateboard. Since I'm always moving it out of my way to pull in the garage, it caught my eye. I like the colorful shapes & lines. Shot at F6.3, 1/40 shutter speed, ISO 500, 105 mm . Histograham mostly even with a little more highlights to the left. Diana Delgado
I love this image! The vibrant colors of the underside of the skateboard are striking and the diagonal lines pull the eye back to the scuffed up wheel (obviously belonging to a well loved possession!)and then the eyes are pulled through the rest of the frame. Nice use of depth of field with the bright yellow & pink foreground of the skateboard in focus, the wheel slightly blurred (as if spinning!) and the tailend blurred. The composition is wonderful with the wheel placed in the lower right hand third of the picture (in a sweet spot!). Very nice!
