This oak tree is right accross from my house, and i love it.. but i still havn't quite figured out how to capture it. This was taken at about 730 in the evening, losing light pretty fast. Set at an F5, and an ISO of 400. I want to go back and bend down the grass in the front (that somehow i didn't notice) and focus more on the purple flowers in the background...
This is a great shot, if this doesn't capture the tree I would love to see how you see it. I didn't notice the purple flowers until I read your post, that adds another depth to the photo. I wonder if different lighting would bring them out more. Very nice!
